Apollo believes it is extemely important to establish trust with its customers and users and it is proud to be committed to protect all of its customer’s privacy confidentiality, personal, and private information to the best of its ability. By Downloading and registering in Apollo or agreeing to any Product Terms which incorporate this General Terms Agreement by reference (in whole or in part), you agree and acknowledge receipt of Apollo’s privacy policies (“Privacy Policies”), including our Ethiopian Consumer Privacy Notice.
The following Privacy Policy applies to all the products and services offered by Apollo mobile application (“App”) (collectively, the “Services”)) to Ethiopian consumers.
Apollo imposes strict restrictions on how third parties can use users’ data while working with the Bank to improve its products and service.
Shall not share information that personally identifies the user with advertisers to deliver relevant digital advertising to users.
Shall not disclose sensitive data/information such as financial information, Bank account, credit/debit card or other payment instrument details, password, biometric information, and online financial activities unless forced by law.
Will not consider any information freely available or accessible in the public domain as sensitive personal data or information.
Informs users that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure and advises users that they must protect themselves.
Once users leave the Application and access another Application or website, they will no more be subject to the privacy and security policy of the Bank.
That the Bank will place an updated version of the policy on the Support menu of the application when the privacy policy changes.

Username associated with your account
Details about devices used to access the mobile applications such as IP address, device information, and operating system.

3. Information collected by Apollo during customer interactions, on publicly available information (social media), and information shared with Apollo by a third party.

We do not disclose personal information of our customers website or portal visitors to anyone except as permitted by law. We may provide certain account information about you to service providers so that we may process your Internet banking transaction. We may also disclose your information without your consent when required by law or for sake of legal process, proceedings and fraud prevention. We will disclose your personal information when national bodies, local authorities require necessary cooperation in order to perform actions in accordance with stipulated laws, and the need to acquire the customer’s consent is an obstacle to said actions We do not sell or disclose any of your personal information or sensitive personal information, financial information, personal details, or medical information unless you specifically authorize us or we are legally required/obliged by the law to disclose such information.
EMAIL POLICIES
Apollo shall send you email notices for certain required disclosures if you choose to accept electronic disclosures or account statements. We may also send you emails marketing our products and services.
We offer secure email through our Internet Banking service. You should use the secure mail service anytime you send us sensitive personal information. In addition,

Apollo retains your personal information for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.
Your personal information and data shall be stored electronically with Apollo’s integrated data management system and physically in a safe secured place. In order to make modifications on our customer’s personal information customer shall provide Apollo with the appropriate justification and support document.
